I was seven year's old when I attended my first wedding - Pauline's although regrettably have no clear memories of the great day. But I do recall with greater clarity vising her and Mac as I called him in their new home - the prefab in Bitterne. I was most impressed with the built in fridge (we did not have one ore several years) and that ice cream could be made - vanilla I think and it was delicious.
